Our Walk and Train service is a great way of having your dog exercised AND trained all in one go.
This service is ideal for those with busy life and work schedules, as well for those who may not be physically able to walk their dogs due to illness or injury.

What’s included in a Walk and Train package:

• Your choice of 4 or 6 session package.
• Each train/walk is 45 mins in duration.
• Dogs are walked/trained individually (not in a group). This ensures your dog is receiving maximum attention each time.
• Exercises taught:
  • Leash manners (walking on loose lead)
  • Sit and wait at curb and other areas
  • Recall training (come when called – on lead only)
  • Name recognition (respond to name)
  • Leave it
  • Exposure to new and novel areas and situations
• We currently only service the North West suburbs of Melbourne (with a view to expanding soon)
• Weekdays only

Important considerations:

• Your dog must NOT be *human or *dog aggressive.
• Your dog must be comfortable with being touched and handled by other people.
• Your dog must be comfortable wearing a collar and lead or other training device. (Note: if required we may suggest change of equipment used to allow the training goals to be me more quickly)
• Your dog must be registered with your local council (proof required).

What we need from you:

• If you will not be home, we will require safe access to your dog somehow.
• Dogs must fully vaccinated.
• You must be truthful with regards to your dog’s demeanour to people and other dogs when outside the home.
• If we are entering your home to collect your dog, you must advise if your dog has any territorial guarding behaviours we need to know about.
• Payment is required in full prior to the service commencing.

Further Notes:

• Currently walks are only offered during weekdays (Tuesdays to Fridays only). Days and times to be pre-arranged)
• No walks during public holidays.
• Walks will be rescheduled in case of severe heat or rain
